Alzheimer's Disease

Son (David)

David is 54 years old and lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.  He is a scientist, and likes to "have the facts" on any issue. He is very skeptical of his mom's diagnosis.

 David's Questions

  • How commonly accepted is the test which was used to diagnose Mom?

  • Can the family be sure that Mom has Alzheimer's?

  • Are there drugs available to treat Mom's Alzheimer's Disease?

Your task is to find and record information relevant to these questions. Alzheimer's  Resources have been identified.
